About

We Are Hear (WAH) is a volunteer-led initiative to create and encourage informal or heart-based listening within communities in order to nurture authentic human connections and an evolved community that is compassionate and empathetic. We Are Hear lean on the concepts of heart-based listening, which is listening to understand instead of giving solutions. WAH was founded in 2020 during COVID-19 and has been offering listening sessions to community as well as corporates. Our mission is to destigmatize mental health by offering heart-based listening in informal spaces. WAH is one of 22 projects under the Youth Mental Well-Being Network.
